    Namaste India 2006 is a Socio-Cultural event organized in the heart of Tokyo while showcasing the essence of Indian civilization. The grand event organized by India Center with an objective of bringing a heart to heart connect between India & Japan. Performances of Nishat Khan, acclaimed sitar maestro, Masako Ono's virtuoso display of Odissi and Masako Sato's graceful Kathak dance were the highlights of the Event that witnessed a footfall of nearly Two Lakh people from Yoyogi Park to experience colourful Indian culture.

    NAMASTE INDIA 2007


    Namaste India 2007 was inaugurated by Mr Toshihiro Nikai, the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry at Yoyogi Park on September 29th, 2007.Namaste India is a cultural event & one of the biggest festivals of India held overseas organized by India Center. Despite rain, the event witnessed a footfall of approximately 3,00,00 people gathered in the opening ceremony .

    Namaste India 2008 was a remarkable success witnessing a footfall of over 2 lakh visitors in Tokyo. India Center hosted a reception for VIP guests and special representatives from both nations in the cultural event showcasing Indian Heritage & Colours to the Japanese Community. The Reception was aimed to trigger these interest groups to share their ideas & knowledge which will facilitate the enhanced international cooperation and socio-economic development of India and Japan in future.
